"I guess you could say that ever since I was a scrappy-haired, freckle-faced kid I always wanted to make my own movie; before the sponsors, peer polls, reader polls and current world champ status. I used to always watch film-clips and movies and scribble down ideas --– I’d close my eyes and edit my minds’ surfing to the beats and riffs for hours on end. I always wanted to be able to use my creativity towards my movie, but I knew there were a million milestones in the road to get to the level to achieve my dreams of making a movie.

I now I feel like I am ready to make a movie on myself. I feel like a complete rider with the respect needed by my peers and street credit needed from the consumers to make it happen. I am ready to make a movie of my life in a cool and creative way; a movie that transcends stereotypes and brands and pushes the limits of what is the collective norm in movie production today; something that isn’t full of cliched voiceovers and some tired old footage; a dynamic, diverse and seem-less production that lives and breathes emotion. I’ve always wanted to make something that when I’m a tired old man sitting on my arm chair puffing a cigar I can watch and be proud of." ... Ben Player.
