Just wishing every one a happy new year and stuff. We're back at work now after a wicked cool festive season and are ready to rock your dvd world in 2008. We have some Massive plans for this year so stay tune and keep coming back for regular updates.

7/12/07 - El Confital pro Canaries Update
Ben Player (AUS) is the new 2007 Mens World Champion.
He was pushed all the way by Magno Oliveria (BRZ) in the first heat of the day in glassy 3 footers at El Confital.
Ben lead the heat early but Magno flipped his way into the lead at the half way mark and the pressure started mounting on Benny.
But like a true champion he managed a deep tube in the final five minutes to secure a spot in the Man on Man quarters and win the World Championship all in one.
The IBA salutes Ben Player....2007 Mens World Champion.

7/12/07 - El Confital pro Canaries Update
Ben Player had his first heat last night in his fight for the world title, and man it was close! Ben absolutely killed his heat with a massive invert scoring him 9's across the board. It was Amaury's heat that was a heat stopper. He was leading for the majority of the heat. High lights were a massive invert off a close out section witch he just couldn't handle in the wash, And with 8 min to go amaury was pushed into third place by something thats could only be described as a out door furniture expedition. Everything was looking good for benny to take out the title, Amaruy was still in third place till the dyeing minuets of the heat when he only just (0.20) scraped into second spot temporarily crushing our dreams of a early world title call!
Ben and Amaury will be surfing again tomorrow night around 12-midnight our time. It will be man on man competition so grab some mates and some cold beer and pull up a chair in front of the computer and cheer our benny on!!
Other upsets from the day were our mate Johnny showell, who only just missed out on making his heat in the dyeing seconds, when mark mcCarthy needing a 8.30 got a smoker and scored luckily a 8.25 witch tied him exactly with Jamie Jesus forcing Johnny to 3rd place.

6/12/07 - Canaries Update
The Confital Pro on Gran Canaria is shaping up to be one of the best
events on the tour,and a grand ending to what has been an incredible year of events on the world tour.
The waves are looking good for the whole event schedule, meaning
there should be man on man heats for the quarter finals onwards.
There is a 100m long two storey scaffold building located at the end of
the main city. A huge TV is built in the scaffolding giving live scores and videos from the comp, a Hard Rock Cafe and a VIP room filled with food and beer for
the VIP’s. Yes I (Kane) will be drunk to calm the nerves while watching the
showdown between Amaury and Ben.
Ben and Amaury (the only 2 who can win the world title) have been
staying together and surfing before the comp. They are both in fine
form and start competing tomorrow in Round 5.
We will keep you updated as the show rolls on.

3/12/07 - World Title Race!
The 2007 IBA World Bodyboarding event at El Confital in Gran Canaria is slowly but surely taking shape.
9 Times World Champion and living legend Mike Stewart is really impressed with the wave quality and the set-up.
“ This is going to be a great event. This wave definitely looks like it’s a high performance right hand barrel that has full-on ramps so it’s going to be a competition wave”
“You have to see photo’s of the set-up here to get an idea of the scale and quality of the scaffolding. It’s amazing!! It looks like a U2 concert or something…it’s pretty full on”
Today both Ben Player and Amaury Laverhne turned up at the beach to cast an eye over the battlefield that will ultimately decide the World Championship. Ironically the two riders are travelling and staying together and this typifies the strong spirit of camaraderie that exists in the sport of Bodyboarding.
Ben Player laughed as he reflected on the situation
“ Yeh, I’ve been here for a week now in preparation for the last event on the IBA World Tour and the waves have been pretty unbelievable over here. I made the stupid move of staying with Amaury, the guy that is coming second so it’s out of him and me for the World Title”

25/11/07 - WE'RE BACK!!!!!
Well, well, well, look who has finally paid their bills and is back on line!
(Thats the last time we read the date on the invoice wrong)
A lot has been happening since we went off line. The "There's No I"
premiere was a hit with tickets selling out on the night and more
froth than a Justin Timberlake concert. Thanks again to every one
that came and supported us we really appreciate it. Click here to

The Dvd will be in stores in the first week of December.
Ben Player and kane have just left for the Canneries islands for
the last event of the IBA tour and to do some filming for the
Ben Player Project, witch will be coming out some time next year.
Ben looking quietly confident to take out the wold title. Word on
the street is he has to get better than 5th place to win the title.

15/10/07 - Beeps in Venezuela
BP sent us through a text message from the IBA event in Venezuela this morning. Sergi Alonso, who is a 15 year old local rider took out the event on his home turf at Caracas. Ben P made the quarter finals, which has almost secured his 2007 world title. The only main left standing in reach of Ben is 21 year old Amaury Laverhne. Amaury is a very worthy opponent but will (unofficially) need to win the last IBA event in Canary Islands to defeat Ben.
We wish both men the best of luck, you all know who we are barracking for tho.

13/10/07 - "THERES NO I" In Phillipines.
